Back To 76, the all star concert featuring Firefall, Orleans, and John Ford Coley is coming to the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall!
Firefall was formed in Boulder (Colorado) in 1974 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Rick Roberts. The band's been through many line up changes since then and it currently consists of Jock Bartley, (guitar andvocals), Mark Andes (bass and vocals), David Muse (keyboards, flute, and saxophone), Sandy Ficca (drums), and Gary Jones (guitar, keyboards, and vocals). Over the years, their musical style has spanned many genres such as country rock (a sub genre of popular music, formed from the fusion of rock and country, developed by rock musicians who started using country themes, vocal styles, and additional instrumentation, most notably, pedal steel guitars), pop rock (a genre that originated in the 1950s, influenced by the beat, arrangements, and style of rock and roll but with a greater emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft), soft rock (a sub genre of pop music that largely features acoustic guitars and slow to mid tempos), and adult contemporary (popular radio music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, rhythm and blues, and rock influence). They’ve had a stellar career with 12 studio albums and 13 singles.
